About this release
Music For Dance & Theatre Volume Two continues Music From Memory's exploration of compositions made for dance and performance. Craig Kupka's Electric Piano, Vibraphone And Percussion fills the first side, bringing its named instruments into an extended arrangement. The reverse pairs Ray Lynch's Cooking Till It's Hot with Scan Lines (Part I), a longer work that broadens the collection's electronic and acoustic palette. Across three pieces, the record moves between rhythmic activity and more atmospheric passages, reflecting music shaped by its relationship with movement and the stage. The 12-inch presents the full three-track programme rather than excerpts from a longer compilation.
