About this release
Nicolas Laugier, working as The Reflex, revisits four Salsoul recordings using original stems and session tapes. Inner Life's I Like It Like That occupies the first side, followed by Metropolis' I Love New York, Leroy Burgess' Heavenly and Aurra's A Little Love. The revisions reshape the arrangements from their individual parts, giving the vocals, basslines and instrumental sections different space within each track. Presented as a double 12-inch, Part 2 gives every remix a full side. The set was issued through Salsoul and BMG, with artwork and design by Al Kent of Million Dollar Disco.
