About this release
Slow (Motion And Movement) collects eighteen library recordings first released by Sonoton in 1980. Antonio Campo, John Fiddy and Gerhard Narholz—working as Sammy Burdson and Norman Candler—contribute pieces built around deliberate rhythms, phased drums, bass, keyboards and electronic textures. Slow Business and Slow Reactor explore the heavier beat-led side, while the Scenic Vision pieces and Deja Vu tracks widen the album's atmosphere. Be With's reissue was remastered by Simon Francis and cut by Cicely Balston, with the original sleeve restored. The full vinyl programme preserves the short variations and linking pieces alongside the longer compositions.
