About this release
Ivan Smagghe curates the eighth Sound Of Love International compilation, bringing twelve selections to the festival label’s series with Test Pressing. His approach draws on the range of music heard across the event, moving between Balearic atmosphere, downtempo passages and club records. Family Of God opens with Beautiful People, followed by tracks from Carolyn and Polygamy Boys. Carl Craig’s remix of Chris & Cosey and Baby Ford’s Heavenly Circuit remix of Leigh Dickson connect the sequence with different approaches to house, before Aquarius Heaven, John Spring and White Car close the set. This repress presents the selection on transparent green double vinyl.
