About this release
Paul Hillery completes his Children Of The Sun trilogy with a twenty-track selection that crosses folk, AOR, jazz and rock. The compilation draws together recordings connected with places including London, Florida, the Netherlands, Switzerland, California, India and Germany, reflecting the varied backgrounds of its musicians and songwriters. Graeme Gash, Carm Mascarenhas, Hardin & Russell and Trisha Watts appear alongside Emerald Web with Barry Cleveland, SONLIFE and Christine Schaller. Across three records, acoustic songwriting and studio arrangements meet jazz-tinged rhythms and softer rock textures, continuing Hillery's exploration of music that connects these different traditions.
