About this release
Vince Watson brings piano, orchestral strings and a driving bassline together on The Awakening, released through his Everysoul Audio label. Its melodic approach draws on the Detroit-influenced house and techno sound that runs through his catalogue. The No Strings Attached version removes the orchestral layer, allowing the bass and rhythm to take more space. On the reverse, Flashback revisits a track from his 2023 album Another Moment In Time in a faster edit, increasing the pace and intensity of its build-ups. The result moves between the title track’s expansive arrangement and two more direct variations for the floor.
