About this release
Voilaaa's Faché EP brings bass, percussion, horns and keyboards together across three songs and two alternate versions. Pat Kalla supplies French vocals on the title track, which is followed by its dub. Trouble Travel features Nai-Jah in a Garage Version, while Olivya of Dowdelin lends Creole vocals to a tropical reinterpretation of Jamiroquai's Too Young To Die. Trop jeune pour ça completes the reverse. Released by Favorite Recordings, the five-track twelve-inch develops Voilaaa's Afro-disco approach through different vocal collaborators and arrangements, connecting its rhythmic foundation with French and Creole-language performances.
