About this release
Vuvuvu and Mervealice join forces on Ma Ze for Keyif, a 7" vinyl of heavy-limbed funk, psychedelic groove and Middle Eastern rhythmic colour.
Punchy drums, gluey synths and fuzzed guitar lines spiral around Mervealice’s warm, assured vocal, with an instrumental version on the flip. A compact, hypnotic 45 for funk heads and selectors after something rich, colourful and slightly left of centre.
