About this release
Moisturizer is Wet Leg’s second album, made by the five-piece formed around Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers with Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes and Joshua Mobaraki. The record channels the group’s experience on the road into brash guitars, heavy beats and songs about obsession and all-consuming love. Written during a stay in a remote countryside house, it builds on the wit and directness of their debut while giving the full band’s live energy more room. The arrangements bring a tighter rhythmic focus to their melodic hooks, balancing playful delivery with a more forceful sound across the album.
