About this release
Whodamanny revisits recordings by Camomilla and Debby, working from the original master tapes to reframe two Italian electronic disco and boogie songs. Touch My Soul appears as a dance mix and a dance instrumental, while Kisses At Midnight receives both a dance mix and a guitar version. Recorded and mixed at Biloba Studio in Naples, the reworks add Whodamanny’s drum programming and synthesizer overdubs. Igor Lovski Sekulović contributes guitar to the Debby material. The contrasting vocal, instrumental and guitar-led arrangements give each song a different focus while keeping its original recorded parts at the centre.
