About this release
Wulf N Flow’s Echo Beach revisits recordings by Ralph Lawson and Carl Finlow made at The Farm in Yorkshire’s Rhubarb Triangle. Drum machines, synthesizers and outboard equipment give the tracks their hands-on character, with live passes shaping the arrangements. This edition adds Blues Dimensions, recovered from corrupted DAT tapes, whose Moog bass, Rhodes and P-Funk refrain bring another angle to the material. It joins Echobeach in Wulf’s Dub and Funk Dimensions in Wulf’s Wax, with The Message appearing as the Random Factor Dub. The four selections connect the pair’s house rhythms and analogue studio work.
