About this release
Yu Su’s second album develops material written for her 2025 MUTEK performance into a spacious blend of ambient electronics, minimal techno and dub. Collaborators Dip In The Pool, Memotone and Seefeel bring different voices and textures into a sound shaped around in-between spaces. A Jewel features Miyako Koda, while One Place After Another joins Yu’s voice with Sarah Peacock and Mark Clifford’s gauzy guitar. The title track introduces a firmer acid pulse, contrasting with the shadowy atmosphere of Wanli and the reflective movement of Ripe Fruits. Foundry treats collaboration as a shared process of transforming sound.
