About this release
Zaltsman's My Luv EP works with percussion, bass and vocal hooks across four club tracks. Moving features London poet and musician James Massiah, placing his voice over a stripped-back rhythm and recurring synth line. My Luv follows with chopped vocals, deep sub-bass and an extended breakdown, while Flatspot puts rolling percussion and a forceful bassline at the centre. Page 365 closes the record, taking a more melodic approach before developing its UK-funky-influenced groove. Released through Emergency Room, the twelve-inch presents two tracks on each side, keeping the full four-track sequence intact.
