About this release
Zugzwang’s “Arrest” returns on Aphelion Recordings alongside three remixes, revisiting a track first released on the duo’s 1995 debut EP. Its deep, immersive ambient techno forms the starting point for new versions by Nuron, Voyance and Mike Golding. Voyance brings together Ben Sims and Nick Dunton, while Golding is known for his work in B12. Released to mark the label’s thirtieth anniversary, APH003 connects the original recording with a new set of interpretations. The four-track 12-inch pairs the original and Nuron remix on side A, with Voyance and Mike Golding’s versions completing side B.
