'Music They Love'... we ask DJ's and producers to delve into their collection and put together a selection of records that have meant a lot to them in the past, as well as the present. All things inspirational and influential - the records which have shaped their sound as a producer or selection as a DJ.
This week we are joined by DJ and Producer Etch, who took us on a lovely journey through his record collection. Tunes from Dusty Springfield, The Meters, DJ Pulse, Silver Fox & many more!
"I try to squeeze every type of music possible into mixes, because I enjoy at least some aspect of most types of music, however for this as it was strictly vinyl I honed in on the things that build up most of my physical record collection. Music from the 60's & 70's (Psyche, Soul, Library Music etc...), Videogame & Film Soundtracks and of course Jungle/DnB - so this kinda rolls out in two parts, a more 'selection' of some of my favourite 60s & 70s records and then some of my favourite jungle/dnb records - the process was essentially me just organising my collection and going "oh my god I forgot I had this I love this record!!"
