About this release
A Good Christian and Abel return to Surfing In Kansas with a shared set of reworks that turns new wave pop towards a softer, Balearic dancefloor mood. Each contributes two edits, with A Good Christian’s You Ain’t It and Obsessed interleaved with Abel’s Supa Eggs and Slow Medication across the record. The release brings together their interests in leftfield electronic music, kraut-influenced grooves and emotionally open club sounds. Its focus is on reshaping familiar pop textures into an unhurried late-night setting, keeping the pair’s individual approaches within the same loose, melodic atmosphere.
