About this release
A Strange Wedding launches Darwin's Biofield label with The Null Zone, a four-track EP centred on low frequencies, broken rhythms and shifting electronic atmospheres. NP features on the opening title track, followed by Breach Vector on the first side. Hyperdimension moves into darker, more minimal territory, while To Name closes the record with a contribution from Mass. The French producer's approach links bass music with experimental electronics, using space and rhythmic tension across the sequence. As Biofield's first release, the EP introduces a label interested in the physical effect of sound as much as its club possibilities.
