About this release
Alcatraz's Giv Me Luv returns on Yoshitoshi with remixes by Nicole Moudaber and Trent Cantrelle alongside the remastered Original Mix. Part of the label's anniversary classics series, the release connects the original club recording with two different production approaches. Moudaber takes the track towards techno, using dark chord stabs, a driving rhythm and an extended breakdown built around the vocal. Cantrelle supplies a deeper house interpretation on the same side. The remastered original occupies the reverse, completing the three-track twelve-inch and placing the two reworks alongside the recording that inspired them.
