About this release
Alex Kassian steps away from the more direct club sound of his early solo releases and Opal Sunn work on Leave Your Life. Issued by Pinchy & Friends, the record places melody and atmosphere at the centre of a four-track 12-inch.
The title track appears in Lonely Hearts and Dance mixes, offering two approaches to the same piece. On the reverse, Spirit Of Eden is paired with a Bill Laswell dub. The combination links Kassian's deep-house and Balearic interests with a guest interpretation that gives the second side its own perspective.
