About this release
AK Cuts: Greatest Hits gathers eight tracks from Anish Kumar's four-part AK Cuts series, selecting two highlights from each volume. The London-based producer brings the digital releases together on a single vinyl LP, connecting sample-led house tracks with melodic hooks and club rhythms.
The series moves through New York influences, car culture and Indian sampling, Italo disco and Americana, bringing contrasting source material into Kumar's house productions. This selection follows that range without reproducing every track from the individual releases. Mixed by Jas Shaw and mastered by U.P. Mix & Master, it presents a cross-section of the completed series.
