About this release
Bertie Bassett opens his self-titled label with Big Bombs EP, a set of house tracks and reworks shaped around raw rhythms and funk-led grooves. Get House and Back To Underground lead the A-side, while the reverse pairs Man In Black in its Edit Mix with Bassett’s Rumba Remix of Michael Diniego’s Finga Loop. The arrangements favour rhythmic space and repetition, keeping the groove at the centre. Together, the originals, edit and remix introduce the label through a mix of driving house and percussive club material.
