About this release
Ca-The-Drals – Transformation revisits D.C. LaRue’s disco catalogue through six remixes by The Reflex, Dr. Packer and Mannix. The Reflex reworks I Don’t Want To Lose You and I’ll Still Be Here For You, with Cathedrals appearing in its Unorthodox Remix on the same side. Mannix takes Deep Dark Delicious Night into a dub-influenced setting on the reverse, alongside The Reflex’s Overture revision and the Dubby Disco Affair version of O Ba Ba. The selection draws from Cathedrals and The Tea Dance, bringing material from both albums together in a single vinyl programme. Dafia Records presents three tracks on each side.
