Devin Dare - Devin Dare Edits

Devin Dare is the production partnership of New York's Duane Harriott and Shawn Marquand. Their Razor-N-Tape EP applies a driving, tightly looped approach to disco, drawing out the rhythmic force of each sample. Clash And Burn opens with a rolling thump before the exuberant KOHO2 completes the first side. On the reverse, Dust brings a lower-slung gospel organ groove, while Stop puts percussion and bass at the centre. The four tracks share a direct club focus while offering distinct textures and levels of intensity. This RNT051 edition collects the complete four-track vinyl programme.
