About this release
Dirty Channels bring four productions to Razor-N-Tape Reserve on Jungle Echoes EP, drawing on several strands of house music. Guilty appears in its original form and a separate dub, with both versions carrying the duo’s brighter disco-house approach. The title track looks towards the deeper sounds of 1990s Chicago and New York, while Semliki introduces elements of South African kwaito into a quicker, hypnotic arrangement. The vinyl sequence places Guilty and Jungle Echoes on the first side, followed by Semliki and the dub on the reverse. Together, the tracks connect the Milan duo’s different rhythmic influences without losing their house foundation.
