About this release
XPRESS Singles Vol. 2 pairs vocal house from Dirty Supercar with remixes of Bustin’ Loose and La Felix. Elliot Chapman fronts Nothing But The Music, where strings and choppy guitar meet a firm kick and bouncing bassline. Angelo Ferreri supplies an extended rework on the same side. On the flip, DE SOFFER remixes 20 Buck Funk and Hot, with Relaye’s rap featured on both. Those two extended versions lean towards nu-disco, bringing a different emphasis to the record’s second half. Released on The Disco Express, the selection connects soulful vocals, house rhythms and disco production.
