About this release
DJ Rasoul’s Soul Searching Vol. 3 brings the vocal and filtered-disco sides of his deep house production together on Large Music. Let Me Love You leads the A-side, followed by a dub that shifts the focus away from the main vocal. Blue Note and Night At Top Redo take the reverse into darker, more disco-filtered territory. The record became part of the West Coast house sound associated with Large’s early catalogue, while the vocal version also found a home at New York’s Shelter through Timmy Regisford’s sets. This repress preserves the original four-track pairing.
