About this release
DJ Split brings a raw, Chicago-influenced house approach to Tessellate on Action Classa, with three original productions and a remix from The Trip. The title track sets the EP’s direct rhythmic focus, while Body Go Ah works organ chords into a jackin’ groove. Simp U shifts towards a moving synth bassline and a more wistful lead, adding a different mood on the reverse. The Trip then return to Body Go Ah, introducing breakbeats, stabs and brighter chord colours. The selection carries Split’s punchy production style across contrasting arrangements, connecting classic house references with the label’s own club sensibility.
