About this release
Spun's Party Edits is real catnip for DJs who like to work the floor hard. Next up, the scalpel maestro, DJ and West Coast legend lands on a new sub-label from Blkmarket Underground Music label with another hard-hitting 12" that really brings the party. First up is the iconic 'Sample This Piano' with new low sling beats but the haunting lead melodies left in place. DJ Spun Vs The Jack Squad's 'Track 02' is an ice cold minimal house cut with lo-fi pads and amercing vibe and 'Can You Feel The Beat' (DJ Spun Bass mix) is a trippy analogue jam with dusty breaks and emotive vocal hooks. 'Acid Man' closes with a raw ghetto feel. A fine start to life for this new label, then.
