About this release
Make A Dance rework Django Django’s ‘Don’t Touch That Dial’ for this blue vinyl 12-inch, pairing their official remix with a vinyl-only dub. Yuuko’s vocals remain central to the A-side, surrounded by glitching synthesisers, acid lines and electro rhythms that push the original further towards the club. The reverse gives more room to those electronic grooves, using fragments of the vocal within a stripped-back dub arrangement. Across the two versions, Make A Dance retain the song’s percussive character while reshaping its balance of voice, synths and rhythm.
