About this release
Ocean Of Beauty pairs Earthtones’ synthesizers with Sheela Bringi’s bansuri flute and harp across eight meditative pieces. The collaboration places Bringi’s grounding in Indian classical music within an ambient setting, drawing together acoustic instruments and electronic textures. Released by Multi Culti, the album takes its title from the Sanskrit devotional text Sri Saundarya Lahari, with track names drawn from its verses and a dedication to Lalita Devi. Cosmic Dissolution, Lotus Feet and Stream Of Nectar form part of a programme shaped by that shared devotional context. The music unfolds through spacious, synth-led ragas rather than the dance rhythms associated with Earthtones’ other work.
