About this release
Music Station Archive Traxx Vol. 1 draws four versions from Jeffrey Collins’ New Jersey label for Daybreakers’ first release. Elaine Monk’s “Something For Nothing” fills side A in its Vocal Mix and D.A.P. Dub Mix, offering two approaches to the same song. On the reverse, Cherie Lee’s “Love Me Or Leave Me” appears in its Club Dub, followed by Gerideau’s “Take A Stand” in the Smack Rain Vibe Mix. The selection brings together vocal house and dub treatments from Music Station’s 1990s catalogue, with all four cuts presented on a single 12-inch.
