About this release
Dâm-Funk and Lorenzo Soria revisit Elkin & Nelson’s 1970s song Vámonos, bringing two different production backgrounds to its open, Balearic groove. Dâm-Funk adds the analogue synth colours and relaxed feel associated with West Coast boogie, while Seville’s Soria brings a percussion-led approach shaped by his work across electronic music and Andalusian influences. Lush keys and repeating rhythmic figures keep the connection to the original at the centre of the retouch. The reverse offers a separately identified 110bpm edit, giving the collaboration a second arrangement. Both versions are paired on this hand-stamped Mushroom Pillow ten-inch.
Format: Hand-stamped 10-inch vinyl
