About this release
FA-5's self-titled album moves between Latin rock, funk, soul, disco and Afro-Cuban rhythms. The eight-track set opens with Muevete Con Las Fuerzas Del Corazon, driven by bass, horns and drum breaks, before moving into the softer grooves of Di Tu Que Haras Sin Mi and Paso Sin Mas. Casa De Ladrillo takes the group into a version of the Commodores' Brick House, while El Blue explores a more spacious sound. Directed by Nestor Caballero and produced by Tony Taño for Areito, the album returns through Mr Bongo's Cuban Classics series, with replica artwork and an obi strip.
