About this release
Fontaines D.C. follow Dogrel with A Hero's Death, an eleven-track second album on Partisan Records. Released in 2020, it takes a more patient, inward-looking approach to the Dublin band's post-punk sound, leaving space for uncertainty and reflection alongside the force of the guitars.
I Don't Belong opens the record, with Televised Mind, A Lucid Dream and the title track among its central songs. Oh Such A Spring offers a brief pause before the second side, which moves through Living In America and Sunny towards the closing No. This edition comes on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve.
