About this release
Francisco D’Argento’s Problemi reaches vinyl with its original mix and three reinterpretations from the Claptrap roster. Restored and remastered from the original half-inch tape, the recording pairs D’Argento’s voice with Eleanora D’Argento over an uptempo Italo-disco arrangement. Donald Dust stretches the rhythm into a dubbed-out Squish Mix, while Dr Valentines slows the tempo for the more spacious Nello Spazio Mix. Vanity Project closes with a darker Robotalo version, shifting the song towards dark disco. The package brings the vocal-led original together with three different treatments of its synthesizers, rhythm and atmosphere.
