About this release
Could Heaven Ever Be Like This brings three Idris Muhammad recordings together on Kudu. The title track takes the full A-side, connecting the drummer's jazz-funk background with a disco arrangement. Tasty Cakes and Turn This Mutha Out share the reverse, giving the twelve-inch two further selections from the same period of his catalogue. This officially licensed reissue was taken from the original master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl. The three-track programme keeps the extended title recording at the centre while making room for its companion cuts on the B-side.
Format: 12" vinyl, 180g
