About this release
Ilija Rudman brings his analogue approach to disco and house to Sosilly with Abracadabra, a three-track EP shaped by seventies boogie and the sound of Prelude and Salsoul. The Zagreb-based producer’s background includes founding Red Music Records and co-running Imogen Recordings, with collaborations spanning Robert Owens, Greg Wilson, Faze Action and Ron Trent. Here, the title track takes the whole A-side, leaving Disco Music and Love Obituary to share the reverse. The record keeps the focus on Rudman’s dancefloor work and the boogie and disco influences that run through his catalogue. Issued on a 12-inch under catalogue number SSR010.
