About this release
Late Delivery and vocalist BL SUEDE reinterpret Sheila E. and Prince’s “The Glamorous Life” across three versions on Tuskegee Music. The original brings fluid vocals, horns and percussion into a 130 BPM groove shaped by deep house, tech house and freestyle. Afriqua’s Megamix heads into a different rhythmic space, working with breaks and bubbling basslines, while Kenny Glasgow offers a smoother, more restrained remix. The contrast gives each version its own role: the original’s vocal-led arrangement, Afriqua’s shifting rhythm and Glasgow’s minimal approach. This three-track 12-inch places the original and Afriqua versions on side A, with Kenny Glasgow’s remix on the reverse.
