About this release
Loradeniz’s debut album SUN SHONE combines synthesizers, percussion, effects and voice across eight pieces of ambient electronic music. Deniz Omeroglu wrote, performed and produced the record, developing an initial set of spontaneous tracks into a full album. Spoken passages on “Saint Odds” and “Swimmer” sit alongside the layered vocals of “No Moon” and the melodic focus of “Brick House”. “Sea Serpent” and “Waterbear” bring more rhythmic, IDM-influenced movement, while “Cloud Sofa” turns towards a gentler atmosphere. The album balances themes of loss and remembered love with moments of release, closing with “Aftersun”. This Music From Memory LP presents the complete programme.
