About this release
London-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer Lynda Dawn returns with her signature blend of classic soul grooves and contemporary R&B. Since her critically acclaimed debut At First Light (2019) and the collector's-favourite Roses (2021), Lynda has cultivated a loyal following, establishing herself as a notable voice in the UK soul scene. Her highly anticipated sophomore project 11th Hour, showcases eight tracks that delve into themes of love, transformation, and self-discovery. Led by the groove-laden single Where You Are (produced by Al Dobson Jr.) and the standout title track 11th Hour, the release has already received major support from BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Jazz FM, and more. Celebrated with a sold-out headline show at Barbican on October 4th, Dawn continues to attract praise from fans and music icons alike, including Azymuth, Patrice Rushen, Jimmy Jam, and Arthur Verocai. 11th Hour is now available on vinyl, offering a timeless addition for aficionados of funk, soul, and jazz.
