About this release
Nenor’s Edits & Re-Works Vol 2 brings four reinterpretations to Mumtak, following the first volume on Fossils. Ronen Sabo’s approach joins soul samples and house rhythms with a deliberately rough-edged finish. Klock It opens with a substantial low end and vocal details, before Clayers introduces breezier voices and a clap-led groove. To Be Free moves into jazzier territory, with dusty drums and loosely worked samples. El Gato closes with more expansive percussion and darker bass. The sequence shifts between warm, unhurried arrangements and firmer rhythmic pressure, keeping its sampled textures at the centre.
