About this release
Nick the Record’s third Natural House release brings together three edits drawn from his DJ sets. Move on Down to the Other Side opens with a proto-house and hi-NRG emphasis, combining an energetic arrangement with the direct pull of eighties dance music. On the reverse, Break Fast Club takes a more Balearic route, while Steamy increases the pace through a boogie-influenced groove. The three tracks show different sides of Nick’s approach to reworking records, moving between disco, house and more relaxed selections. The title track appears here as the Booster Shot Edit, with the two companion cuts sharing the B-side.
