About this release
Nico Bellari opens Disco De Jure with two disco reworks, each paired with a Dub De Jure version. Dance, Dance, Dance centres on a smooth lead vocal and a buoyant rhythm, while Straight Ahead brings a heavier bassline and playful synth parts to the second side. Mixed and edited from the original multitracks, the four versions offer different balances of vocal detail and groove, with the dubs stripping the arrangements back. The result is a focused set of edits that keeps the songs recognisable while giving their instrumental parts more room.
