About this release
Playbox / Wanna Feel Like A Lover pairs two remixes from Purple Disco Machine's Exotica project on a Sweat It Out! twelve-inch. Alex Virgo takes Playbox on the first side, bringing an Italo-disco flavour to the track's electronic club sound. Poolside handles Wanna Feel Like A Lover on the reverse, with Ed Mac's featured vocal credit carried through from the original song. The selection puts two remix approaches alongside one another, with each version given its own side. It continues the album's move from song-based disco production into alternative arrangements for listening and DJ sets.
