About this release
Purple Disco Machine joins Sophie and the Giants for Hypnotized, bringing the British group's vocal presence into his disco-influenced production. A funk-led bass line and engaging melody connect the song's pop character with a club rhythm. Sweat It Out!'s three-track twelve-inch leads with the Extended Mix, then turns to remixes by Roosevelt and Loods on the reverse. The selection lets the original vocal-led collaboration sit alongside two alternative interpretations, keeping the song at the centre while changing its setting. This is the twelve-inch remix release, with the three versions arranged across two sides.
