About this release
Ladies First pairs Queen Latifah with Monie Love on a song that foregrounds women's voices in hip hop. Taken from Latifah's 1989 debut album, the track appears here in its radio edit, bringing the two rappers' exchanges to the A-side of this Tommy Boy 7-inch. Come Into My House occupies the reverse, connecting Latifah's rap delivery with a hip house setting. The TB55511 reissue brings these two singles together on red vinyl, with one song on each side and no additional mixes included in the programme.
Format: 7-inch red vinyl, reissue
Label: Tommy Boy Records
