Quiroga - Acid Dropout

Acid Dropout finds Naples producer Walter Del Vecchio, working as Quiroga, exploring acid house across two originals and two alternative versions. Once Again opens with rough-edged bass and insistent acid lines, followed by an Ambient Version that adds piano, effects and vocal fragments to a slower arrangement. DMX Krew's remix on the reverse turns the track towards acid-electro, while Freak The Funk closes with drum breaks, warm bass and cosmic chords. Dario Bassolino contributes additional production to Freak The Funk, with Whodamanny mixing the EP. Released on Hell Yeah Recordings, the four-track twelve-inch pairs club rhythms with more spacious passages.
