Red Rack'em - Italo Disco Banger

Red Rack’em pairs two disco workouts on Bergerac, with the title track built around an arpeggiating bassline, breathy vocals and cut-up samples. Its spacious introduction opens into a rolling groove inspired by the Adriatic festival circuit, balancing melodic warmth with the producer’s off-centre bass programming. On the reverse, ‘Hotline’ takes a tighter route, bringing Brit-funk guitar figures, filtered disco loops and sub-bass into focus. The two tracks offer different approaches to the same dancefloor territory: one expansive and sunlit, the other more stripped back and insistent. Sam Irl handles the mastering.
