About this release
Fenix Break brings Roy Of The Ravers’ acid sound into six tracks shaped by tough breakbeats, machine funk and mid-tempo rhythms. Built with an Akai sampler, Cwejman S2 and Synton Fenix synthesisers alongside 303 processing, the music was recorded straight to tape. The title track leads into two parts of Distance S2, with Funky Monkey, Coldwind and Showdown on the reverse. Acid Waxa’s vinyl edition comes on a 140g 12-inch record in a recycled brown sleeve with printed labels.
