About this release
Sa Pa launches Dub Techno For Life with material drawn from the more dancefloor-focused side of his archive. Mokira Ultra Dub reworks Andreas Tilliander’s Manipulation Musik, originally developed alongside an ambient version for Kontra Musik in 2016. Waiting For You brings a lighter, buoyant rhythm, while Modular System captures a one-take session made with borrowed machines in Taipei. World Saving Banger closes with broken rhythms and a more abstract, IDM-influenced approach. The record keeps the depth and spacious production of Sa Pa’s earlier work while giving its rhythmic ideas a more direct setting.
